Where can I buy tickets?
-
Does everyone need to purchase a Christmas at the Caves ticket? All children wishing to meet Father Christmas and receive a gift, require a ticket. Babe-in-arms not requiring a gift are free of charge. The first 2 adults per booking are free, regardless of the number of children on the booking; any additional adults will be charged at £4 each on the door. Only one booking per customer per day - multiple bookings will not be allowed into Father Christmas’s Cosy Cave at the same time.
-
Will my visit with Father Christmas be private?Yes. The Caves and Christmas Crafts sessions are shared experiences with other groups. However, when visiting Father Christmas there will only be your group with him in his cosy cave.
-
Can I visit Father Christmas with another family group?Due to size limitations of Father Christmas’s cosy cave group sizes are limited to 6 people, including children.
-
What will happen if we arrive late?It is essential that guests arrive promptly for their time slot. If you are early, you will be able to enjoy your Christmas Crafts session, or use the café. Unfortunately, late arrivals will not be admitted into the Caves and we cannot offer refunds.
-
Can I bring a pushchair into Christmas at the Caves? The Caves are not accessible to buggies, so guests will be asked to leave all buggies and pushchairs in the designated Buggy Park.
-
Is Christmas at the Caves accessible? The experience is in the Caves and as such is not fully accessible; there are 32 steps to enter the Caves and access is not possible for pushchairs, buggies and wheelchairs. There will be time spent in the Caves as part of your visit and there may be some waiting to visit Father Christmas. If your child will struggle with this we recommend booking into one of the first two time slots of the day.
-
What is the refund policy? If we find it necessary to close the event for any reason, we will offer you a full refund or the option to book in to an alternative day (subject to availability). If you are late for your allocated time or cannot make your booking, unfortunately we cannot offer a refund. Please ensure that you are confident in being able to fulfil your booking before completing the purchase of your tickets. Tickets cannot be swapped or names changed once booked.
-
Can I change my booked visit time?Unfortunately, we cannot change ticket times and cannot provide refunds for missed time slots.
-
How will I receive my tickets, and do I need to print them out?Tickets will be emailed to the address used to book your tickets. You do not need to print them out.
-
Who should I contact if I have a query? Please email our team at info@margatecaves.co.uk
